'In-water Recompression: Pros and Cons' Talk

The rationale of using pressure to treat DCS is relatively easy to understand. Using the water column pressure is a compelling idea, but does in-water treatment offer the same risks and benefits as treatment in a hyperbaric chamber?
Doors will open at 18.15. for a pre-event social, and light refreshments will be served. The presentation begins at 19.00 and will last approximately 45-55 minutes. A 30-minute question-and-answer session will follow.
Admission to the lecture is free, and no registration is required.
The DAN Lecture Series is held bi-monthly on the first Wednesday of every other month, 19.00 - 20.30. The program helps the Research Department expand their dialogue with local divers and facilitate their continuing efforts to develop new talks.

April 2: "When Pressure Changes are Not About Diving” presented by Dr. Neal W. Pollock
June 4: "The Science of Breathing Underwater" presented by Niles W. Clarke
August 6: "Diving With Implanted Medical Devices" presented by Marty McCafferty
